Charles Eugene Clifton was born on March 24, 1939 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Charlie Lee Clifton and Wilma Rose (Hall) Clifton. He passed from this life on October 31, 2025 in Antlers, Oklahoma at the age of 86. 

Charles had a playful and fun loving spirit. He enjoyed passing the time riding his motorcycle, giving people hell, and making them laugh. Charles was known to be quite a flirt with the ladies, and it was one of his favorite pastimes.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents: Wilma and Charles Clifton; brothers: Wilburn Clifton, Jimmy Carl Clifton, Tommy Clifton, and Jerry Clifton; sister: Bessie Dean Clifton; sons: Donnie Clifton and Jimmy Dale Clifton; and nephews: Fred Owens and Jackie Davis. 

He is survived by his son: Dale Clifton of Rattan, Oklahoma; and grandchildren: Dally Clifton of Rattan, OK, Garrett Roper Clifton of Rattan, Oklahoma, and Robin Carter of Odessa, Texas. 

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 12PM at the Serenity Funeral Service Chapel.
