Charles "Charlie" Tramble passed from this life at his home in Antlers, OK on September 7, 2021 at the age of 83. He was born in Redden, OK on January 10, 1938 to James Olvin Tramble and Geneva Tramble. Charles married Ruth Campbell on December 31, 1961 in Eureka, CA.
Charlie moved to California as a child, and graduated from Leggett Valley High in 1956. After his graduation he was owner and operator of his own logging truck. Charlie loved to have coffee at Stanton's Barn in McKinleyville, CA with his fellow loggers to shoot the breeze. Whenever he moved to Antlers, the Shell station became his next coffee spot to give lessons on politics to his Antlers buddies. Charlie was a man you could always count on to be there for his kids and grandkids.
Charlie is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years: Ruth Tramble; parents: James Olvin Tramble and Geneva Tramble; and brothers: James Tramble and Roger Tramble.
He is survived by his children: Carolyn Flowers and husband Eric, and Lisa Carlson and husband Kevin; brother: Allen Tramble; grandchildren: Isaac, Brittany, Cassie, Sommer, and Riley; and great-grandchildren: Bryleigh, Brody, Brettley, Bentley, Dakota, Brynslee, McKinley, Allison, Harlow, and Claire.
A celebration of Charlie's life will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 2PM at the Antlers City Park.
