Clara Ruth (Loman) Battice, age 84, Antlers, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025. Born on March 10, 1941 in Antlers, she was the devoted spouse of Victor Eyachabbe, and a loving mother to her children, Curtis Jr, Leslie, and Sterling. She will be remembered for her strength during times of hardship, courage for moving mountains to accomplish goals, humor, and laughter during the days of her life. Her passion in life was caring about others in her chosen career path. She had a deep love for being a nurse, and will be remembered for her dedication to serve others as a nurse for 42 years. Her family was a part of her decision to achieve her goal, she always put their needs first and was there with a listening ear, warm embrace especially for the grandkids and great grandkids.
She is survived by her children, son, Curtis Jr and wife Karla of Antlers Oklahoma, daughter Leslie Battice of Tecumseh, Oklahoma and son, Sterling Battice and wife Tiffany of Antlers, Oklahoma grandchildren include Taylor Battice and wife Debra, Erica (Battice) Smith and husband Kyle, Trevor Battice and wife Kaylee, Christian Anderson, Caitlin Anderson, Ryann Anderson and Jacoby Anderson, Bradley Battice and wife Ivy, Cameron Battice, and Candis Battice. Her great grandchildren include Kyler Battice, Kairie “Koda” Winship, Ellisyn Battice, Oaklyn Battice, Rowan Battice, Nashoba Battice, Shiloh Battice, Sawyer Battice, Logan Battice, Levi Leis and Autumn Battice and Damien Battice, Genesis Battice and Nakoah Battice.
Clara was preceded in death by the love of her life Victor Eyachabbe, granddaughter Bailey Battice and granddaughter Tallie Anderson.
A service celebrating her life will be held at 10am on Thursday October 30, 2025 at Serenity Funeral Chapel In Antlers, Oklahoma.
Burial will be At Tuskahomma Veterans Cemetery next to Papa Vic at Tuskahoma, Oklahoma and family meal will be served following grave side service in Antlers at Choctaw Nation Community Center.
The family wishes to thank A Path Of Care Hospice and for nurse Hailey for being so supportive and caring to mom during her journey. Thank you Choctaw Nation for the support, thank you to all the extended family and friends for the wonderful support, kindness and memories during this time.
