Clayburn Jay Hill was born in Antlers, Oklahoma to J.W. and Marania (Blankenship) Hill on August 19, 1962. He passed from this life in his hometown on March 26, 2023 at the age of 60. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Clay was an avid pool player, and enjoyed the friendly competition of the game.
He also had a deep love for the outdoors, finding solace and relaxation by hunting and fishing in the beautiful Oklahoma landscape that surrounded him. He cherished these hobbies as an opportunity to connect with nature and appreciated the tranquility that they provided. Clay worked for the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority for around 30 years. The way the family feels about Clay is that there are no words that sum up Clays life. The brothers feel most fortunate to have had Clay as a brother and most unfortunate to have lost Clay.
He is preceded in death by his mother: Marania Hill; and father: J.W. Hill.
Clay is survived by one child: Marania Hill of McAlester, OK; and brothers: James Hill and Steven Hill, both of Antlers, OK.
A family night will take place on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 4-6PM at Serenity Funeral Service. The funeral will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 2PM at the Serenity Funeral Service Chapel with Brent Franks officiating.
Services are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Service of Antlers, Oklahoma.
