Cleta Marie Henley, age 89, a long-time resident of Antlers, OK passed away peacefully on March 6, 2025 in Paris, TX with family at her side. Born on December 16, 1935, in Douglass, KS to Clifford and Thelma Rogers, she was raised alongside her 11 siblings: Gene, Charles, Clifford, David, Jimmy, Marvin, Tommy, Robert, Karen, Nita, and Carolyn. Cleta married Donald Henley on October 1, 1954 in Wewoka, OK, and began a family of their own. Cleta was a devoted homemaker whose life was a testament to her faith and love.

A member of the First Baptist Church of Antlers, Cleta's caring nature flowed through her cooking and love of feeding people with her carefully crafted recipes. Her interests were varied and joyful; she found pleasure in playing dominos and cards, enjoyed the times spent camping with friends, and took immense pride in nurturing her flower and vegetable gardens.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband: Trooper Don Henley; and her parents: Clifford and Thelma Rogers.

Cleta is survived by her children: Mike Henley and wife Debbie; grandchildren: Amanda and John Morton, and Joshua and Barinda Henley; as well as a host of family and friends.

A family night will take place on Sunday, March 9, 2025 from 6:00-7:30PM at Serenity Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held at 2PM, Monday, March 10, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Antlers with Reverend Aaron Reed officiating. Pallbearers will be Josh Henley, John Morton, Scott Baze, Chris Joslin, Roger Wheelan, and Randy Shepherd. Honorary pallbearers include: Mel Ellis, Monte Preno, Scott McLemore, Cory Boueffler, and Terry Morris.
