Clyde Henslee passed from this life with his family at his side on August 13, 2020 at his home in Antlers, Oklahoma. He was born July 16, 1925 in Denison, Texas to Clyde Henslee Sr. and Octi (Riley) Henslee.
Clyde married Ann Birchfield on March 19, 1947 in Sherman, Texas. He owned a lumber mill for many years near Antlers, Oklahoma. Clyde enjoyed buying and selling used cars, mowing his lawn, camping, hunting, fishing and running juglines, and going to Colorado. He was a resident of Antlers for more than 70 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Rattan, Oklahoma.
Clyde is preceded in death by his loving wife: Ann Henslee; parents: Clyde Sr. and Octi Henslee; brothers: Tom Henslee and Ray Gene Henslee; and sisters: Margie Arthur and Janice Henslee.
He is survived by sons: Rick Henslee and wife Joan of Antlers, Oklahoma, Alan Henslee and wife Melissa of Antlers, Oklahoma, and Dwayne Henslee and wife Sue of Antlers, Oklahoma; daughter: Judy Kelley and husband Robert of Prosper, Texas; brothers: Johnny Henslee of Denison, Texas and Jim Henslee of Odessa, Texas; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; along with many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services for Clyde will be held at 10AM on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Rattan Cemetery. Family Night will take place Friday, August 14, 2020 from 6-8PM at Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.
