Connie Martin Obituary
Connie Joyce Martin, 81 of Tuskahoma, OK, passed from this life in Sherman, Texas on November 7, 2021. She was born in Beaumont, TX on April 21, 1940 to Glenn and Eva (Wyler) Mizell.
Connie married Robert Carter Martin on September 17, 1993. Together, they pastored a Denton, TX church for over 20 years. Connie adored her dogs, and actually turned her love of pets into a career as a dog groomer. She would often pass her free time writing poems. Connie thoroughly loved her time spent worshiping with her church family at Fresh Beginnings Church in Finley, OK.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Glenn and Eva Mizell; brother: Louis Mizell; and sister: Peggy Comalander.
Connie leaves many behind to cherish her memory including: her loving husband: Robert "Bob" Martin; children: Sean Martin, Kevin Martin, Tressie Martin, Scott Carter, Tim Lambert, and Rhonda Cormier; as well as numerous grandchildren.
Services for Connie will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 with viewing beginning at 1PM and service following at 2PM at the Serenity Funeral Service Chapel with Brother Harry Howell and Randy Perusse officiating.
Services have been entrusted with Serenity Funeral Service and Serenity Cremations of Antlers, OK.
