D. Lavonne Tollett Obituary

Dorothy Lavonne Tollett, born on August 10, 1951, to Edward and Alma Ruth (Davis)
Morse, peacefully passed through Heaven's gate on Saturday, March 23, 2024.
Known affectionately as Lavonne to most, she held a special place in the hearts of
many. To her brother Randy, she was lovingly referred to as Bonnie. Yet, her most
cherished roles were those of Mom to Ed and Justin, and the endearing title of Nana to
Gracie, Tomie, and Alex.

Following high school, Lavonne embarked on a career journey, working at various
organizations. It was during this time that she crossed paths with the love of her life,
Tommy Dean Tollett. Their fateful meeting blossomed into a beautiful union, as they
exchanged vows on October 19, 1973. Together, they shared 25 years of love and
companionship until Tommy's passing on March 21, 1998.

Tommy and Lavonne chose to raise their family in Rattan. During that time, she worked
for Rattan Public School in a variety of roles and retired as the school district treasurer
in 2015. Following retirement, Lavonne moved to Bethel Acres to be closer to her sons
and their families.

Lavonne's presence brought warmth and joy to those around her, and her nurturing
spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. Her legacy of love and kindness will forever
be cherished by her family and friends.

She is survived by her sons, Ed Tollett and wife Carla, Bethel Acres, Ok and Justin
Tollett, and wife Delinda, Ada, Ok, and stepdaughter Tammy Bray, Eufaula, Ok.
Grandchildren, Gracie, Alex, Tomie, Kendra, and Paige. Brother Randy, and wife
Felicia, Rattan, Ok, sister Reba Harmon, Rattan, Ok, sister-in-law LoEva McDonald,
Holdenville, OK and many nieces and nephews and bonus grandchildren.

In remembrance of Lavonne's life, a graveside service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Rattan Cemetery to honor her memory and the profound impact she had on all who were fortunate enough to know her.
