Dale May Obituary
Dale Winford May (92) was born in Mineral, Arkansas on February 24, 1929 to John and Ethel May. He passed from this life at his home in Finley, Oklahoma on November 2, 2021.
Dale proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1947 to 1950. He married Patricia Ann Smith on February 5, 1973 in Soledad, California, and they had called Southeast Oklahoma their home since 1999. Dale was a faithful, active member of the Little Cedar Baptist Church.
Dale is survived by his wife: Patricia Ann May of the home; and children: Kathy Medford and husband Mark of Mena, AR, Cindy Richmond and husband Duane of Mena, AR, and Bodie May and wife Julia of Fort Smith, AR; step-children: Kenny Faulkner and wife Christine, Cheryl Yoas and husband Terry, and Donna Roberts and husband Larry; grandchildren: Dena, Beau, Andrew, Fara, Gerald, and Kyle; as well as 10 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by one son: John May.
Graveside services for Dale will take place on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 10AM at the Finley Cemetery with Brent Franks officiating. Honors will be provided by the United States Air Force Honor Guard.
Services are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Service.
