Danny Robert Hill went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, in Antlers, Oklahoma. He was born April 20, 1946, in Carlsbad, New Mexico, to Herbert Hill and Evelene (kellett) Steele.

Danny was a distinguished, retired Staff Sergeant in the United States Army, and proudly served his country during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a Christian man who took time to learn about the Lord. Danny liked to go fishing, watch wrestling while eating popcorn and play card games on his computer. He also really enjoyed playing slots at the casino. Danny was an exceptional cook and was known for his donuts and cinnamon rolls. You could always count on Danny to make sos on Sunday mornings and the best dressing for Thanksgiving dinner. Above all else, Danny was a family man who loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Nguyet Hill; step-daughter: Hiep Lawler-Hill; father: Herbert Hill; mother: Evelene Kellett; and sister: Betty Wilson.

Danny is survived by his children: Robbie Hampton and husband Tim of Durant, Oklahoma and William Hill of Antlers, Oklahoma; brother: Steve Hill and wife Lola of Antlers, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Jeffery Scott of Caddo, Oklahoma, Jonathon Scott and wife Jessica of Antlers, Oklahoma, Chris Lawler of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Adam Lawler of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Sabrina Baldy of Alabama, Lexi Hill of Glenpool, Oklahoma and Ceeley Hill; eleven great grandchildren; as well as numerous other family members and a host of friends.

A funeral service for Danny Robert Hill will be held 2 PM, Saturday, December 17, 2022, at the Serenity Funeral Service Chapel, in Antlers, Oklahoma. Burial will immediately follow at the Oddfellows Cemetery in Antlers, Oklahoma.

A family night will be held 6 PM to 7 PM, Friday, December 16, 2022, at the Serenity Funeral Service Chapel.
