Dawn Lee Keener, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2025, in Tulsa, OK. She was born on December 20, 1956, in Los Angeles, CA to Morris and Leila Sadoff.
Dawn's kindness could be felt whether she was behind the counter at Nancy's, sharing a laugh with the patrons, or attending local festivals where she proudly sold her handmade creations. A creative soul, Dawn was well-known for her intricately painted dragons that she thoroughly enjoyed creating. In her youth, she found joy in horseback riding, quilting, and creating Western shirts. Even up to her final days, the light of creativity never dimmed, as she continued crafting.
Dawn cherished every opportunity to hunt for treasures at flea markets, and she enjoyed the simple pleasure of shopping for craft supplies. Above all, her love for her family and friends was her greatest treasure.
She leaves behind her husband, Jason Keener; her daughter, Shannon Keener-Wing; and her sister, Kim Calhoun.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Andon Carter Wing.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 3PM at the Serenity Funeral Service Chapel.
