Delena Emily (Smith) Cochran, 94, went to be with her Lord on December 14, 2020 in Antlers, Oklahoma. She was born in Atoka, Oklahoma on February 15, 1926 to Henry Sheridan Smith and Mellie Cleo (Bernard) Smith.
Delena married Edgar Cochran on October 12, 1946 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Together they owned and operated Ed's Drive-In Restaurant in both Antlers and Oklahoma City. Delena was a member of the Christian Family Fellowship Church of Antlers.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Edgar Cochran; parents: Henry and Mellie Smith; son: Terry Cochran; granddaughter: Rebecca Cochran; brothers: Addison and Robert (Bob) Smith; as well as one step-sister and six step-brothers.
Delena is survived by her sons: Kenneth Cochran and wife Sherri of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Steve Cochran and wife Teresa of Salina, Kansas; daughter-in-law: Becky Cochran of Antlers, Oklahoma; sister-in-law: Shirley Moody of Choctaw, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Delena Cardwell, Carrie Graham, Kenny Cochran, Rodney Cochran, Brian Cochran, Bobby Cochran, Alex Cochran, Aaron Cochran, Hannah Cochran, Sarah Ganaway, Lawayna Cathey, Russell Boyer, and Rebekah Ehrlich; along with 13 great-grandsons and 8 great-granddaughters.
Graveside services for Delena will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 1PM at Darwin Cemetery with Pastor Billy Hunter officiating.
Services have been entrusted with Serenity Funeral Service of Antlers, Oklahoma.
