Donald Cecil Standridge was born on October 30, 1953 in Las Cruces, New Mexico to Chester and Margaret Standridge. He was reunited with his wife Janet, his sons Duck and Matthew, and his parents on October 31, 2023.
Donald was a devoted father, husband, papa, and great-grandpa. He honorably served his country in the United States Army before returning home to Southeast Oklahoma. He was a hard worker and was passionate about whatever job he had, whether he was working in the log woods or law enforcement.
Although Donald didn't often express his emotions openly in public, he was a very soft-hearted, affectionate, and thoughtful person. He married the love of his life, Janet, on April 10, 1992, and he never truly recovered from her passing. When it came to his immediate family, he was extremely loving and expressed his deep love for them often. His presence will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Chester and Margaret Standridge; sons: Donald "Duck" Standridge and Matthew Standridge; wife: Janet Standridge; brother: Leon Standridge; and sisters: Betty Brown and husband Charles, and Nancy Chumley.
