Donnez Evans

Donnez Lynn Evans passed away on July 22, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born into the world on October 24, 1957, in Redding, California, she was the loving and cherished daughter of Donald Newburn, Corneilia Inez Masters, and Thomas Masters.

Donnez, fondly remembered as a devoted homemaker, has left behind a legacy of love and family. Throughout her life, she was passionately committed to nurturing her home and family. Fishing, sewing, and gardening were her favorite pastimes, a testament of her love for nature and life's simple pleasures. Above all, Donnez was a doting grandmother who reveled in spending time with her adored grandchildren. Her love for them was immense and immeasurable.

Donnez is preceded in death by her husband: Bobby Evans; her father: Donald Newburn; her mother: Cornelia Inez Masters; step-father: Thomas Masters; and brothers: Richard Newburn, Rodney Newburn, and Christopher Masters.

Her memory is kept alive by her children: Tracey Sorrells, and Tiffany Huskins and husband Jerry; her brothers: Craig Newburn, Glen Masters, Elmer Masters, and Dewey Masters; her sisters: Janice Neal and Theresa Newburn. Additionally, her cherished grandchildren: Lacie Weathers and her husband Kyle, Jacob Sorrells, Mickala Lucas, Cierra Jantzen and husband Micah, Heather Maynard and her husband Cass, and Emmazine Huskins; along with her great-grandchildren: Sophie Weathers, Kyler Weathers, Ellie Weathers, Gabriel Lucas, Darrius Jantzen, and Tobias Maynard, will remember and celebrate her life for years to come.


Services will be held from 6-8PM, Thursday, August 3, 2023 at Serenity Funeral Service.
