Doris Maxine (Smith) Faulkner

Doris Maxine Faulkner was born on February 16, 1928 in Antlers, Oklahoma. She passed into the arms of her Lord on June 24, 2022 at the age of 94.

Doris married Curtis Faulkner in 1948 in Exeter, California, and they enjoyed many years together until his passing in 2015. She was a member of the Little Cedar Baptist Church. Doris was a beloved homemaker, and enjoyed passing her time cooking and crocheting.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Curtis B. Faulkner; son: Clifton Dale Faulkner; parents: Sibian and Flora Smith; twin sister: Dorthy Kathleen Clark; and brothers: George E. Smith and Malton Dale Smith.

Doris is survived by her children: Jimmy Faulkner and spouse Colleen of Gilmer, TX and Keith Faulkner and spouse Maureen of Big Sandy, TX; sister: Margaret Smith of Dallas, TX; grandchildren: Marc Faulkner, Eric Faulkner, Joshua Faulkner, Besty Faulkner, and Sara Faulkner Chapman; and great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Alanis, Lynzee, Sunee, Hayley, Brandon, Emily, and Jordan; and great-great grandson: Saylor Bryant Faulkner.

Funeral Services for Doris will be held 11 AM Thursday June 30, 2022 at Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma with interment following at Finley Cemetery in Finley, Oklahoma.

Services are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Service of Antlers.
