Dorothy Jane Plew, 78, passed from this life March 6, 2021, in Antlers, Oklahoma. She was born August 02, 1942, in Pirtle, Oklahoma, to Harold Jack and Viola Mae (Ingram) Mitchell.
She married Bobby Plew on June 13, 1959, and they were blessed with many happy years together before his passing. Dorothy was a christian woman and an avid reader. She also enjoyed watching westerns, and in her younger years, she enjoyed dancing and spending time with her close friends. Later in life she enjoyed watching American Pickers. Above all else Dorothy loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband: Bobby Plew; parents: Jack and Mae Mitchell; sister: Patsy Neese; and sister-in-law: Sue Mitchell.
She is survived by her children: Michael Plew and wife Deborah of Antlers, Oklahoma, Leland Plew of Antlers, Oklahoma, Joe Plew and wife Tonya of Harrison, Arkansas, Terry Plew of Antlers, Oklahoma and Christie (Plew) Schnoor and husband Bill of Oak Point, Texas; brother: Johnny Mitchell; grandchildren: Jamie Cunningham, Donna Clay, T.J. Sandusky, Nicole Baker, Larry Plew, Sotona Solis, Jacob Plew, Jerrica Plew, Hudson Plew, Miranda Plew, Haely Neese, Tari Plew, Samantha Nabors, Kyle Schnoor and Kody Schnoor; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Dorothy will be held 2 PM Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma with Brent Franks officiating.
Viewing for Dorothy will be Tuesday March 9, 2021 from 9 am to 8 pm at Serenity Funeral Service.
