Effie Marie Daniels, a member of the One Creek Valley Baptist Church, was born August 11, 1942 to Stanley J. and Exa Adams. She passed from this life in Antlers, OK on August 25, 2024.

Effie was born and raised in Rains County, TX. She spent most of her life as a single mom trying to take care of her children. She worked several types of jobs from seamstress and cook to machinist. Effie was happiest in her life after marrying Billy Daniels and moving to Finley, OK in 2010. She often spoke of the kindness, good-hearted, and supportive people of the community. She loved the area and how full of wildlife the beautiful countryside was. Effie loved to keep her hands busy in her spare time, and could often be found sewing, cooking, and crafting.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Billy Daniels; son: Adam Wayne McGee; mother and father: Stanley J. and Exa Adams; brothers: Jesse, Jed, Carl Mark, and Jackie Pete Adams; sisters: Pat Shipman and Wilma Sue Adams; sisters in law: Beth Adams and Rosa Lee Adams; and nieces and nephews: Vickie Vossbrink and Holly Adams.

Effie is survived by her children: Frankie McGee of Finley, OK, and Donna DeBenedictis of Houston, TX; sister: Mary Childers of Campbell, TX; grandchildren: Sabrina and Paige DeBenedictis of Houston, TX, Krystal Hobbs, and Ashley McGee; brother-in-law: James Shipman; sister-in-law: Bobbie Adams; nieces and nephews: Dwayne Gore and Tammy Gore-Himes, Delena and Stannie Adams, Tommy Adams, and Ricky and Steve Adams; as well as several great-grandchildren and a host of friends.

Her services will be held at One Creek Valley Baptist Church, a mile and a half east on One Creek Road in Finley, OK on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 11:00AM. Brother Donny Day will be officiating and special music "When He Was On The Cross" will be provided by Melissa Day, and Shyrl Hill and Willma Pitman will share "Thank You Lord For Your Blessing On Me." Effie's friends are encouraged to share their special memories of her, and a time will be set aside for anyone who would like to do so.

Honorary urn-bearers are Andy Heath, Sammie Joe Rymel, Bob Carter, Dwight Goldy, Billy Skaggs, Donald Ray Kinder, Gatlin McDonnold, and Carl Carter.
