Emma Marie Linn Obituary

Emma Marie Linn, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, was called to her eternal home on October 11, 2025, at the age of 22. Born on December 19, 2002, in Talihina, Oklahoma, Emma grew up surrounded by the love of her devoted family. Her memory will forever be cherished by those she leaves behind, particularly her treasured sons Bowdee Lane and Hardy Reed Starkes.

Emma's Christian faith was the cornerstone of her life. She was saved in 2018 at a Rodeo Bible camp in Talala, OK, where she competed in the barrel racing event. She attended various churches over the years and carried her deep and abiding love for God in her heart every day.

Emma's vibrant spirit was evident through her numerous hobbies. She found great joy in nature, from riding horses and competing in rodeos, to hunting, fishing, playing hide and seek, and engaging in outdoor adventures with her cousins. During her school years, she excelled in FFA, cheerleading, and basketball. Her sons were her world, and she infused every holiday and birthday with magic and wonder to create lasting memories for them.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Brenda Linn, Siney Noah, Freda Schutt, and Billie Strickland; cousin: Kaston Rosenthal; and uncle: Van Linn.

She is survived by her cherished sons: Bowdee Lane Starkes and Hardy Reed Starkes; parents: Heather Linn and special friend Mike May of Antlers and Robert Linn and wife Desiree of Talala; siblings: Kyron Linn of Antlers, Gates Beck of Talala, Rikki Linn and Brendan Adkins of Antlers, and Makenzie Heuszel of Tahlequah; grandparents: Mary Gates of Antlers, and Joe Watson of Battiest; aunts and uncles: Richard and Treasa Schutt of Elk City, Cory and Lauren Price of Sobol, Thomas and Toni Rosenthal of Antlers, Larry Linn of Waldron, and Kevin and Jordan Linn of One Creek Valley; cousins: Lizzie, Raelyn, Ryker, Ridge, Ainsley, Riggin, RobertLee, and Bashlyn, as well as a host of other beloved family and friends.

The heavens rejoice as Emma is welcomed into the Kingdom of God. Her memory will remain a blessing to all, a precious reminder to cherish every day with passion, purpose, love, faith, and “three things”.
