Fannie L. Westbrook, a lifelong resident of Atoka, OK, passed away on August 1, 2023. Born on February 13, 1943, to parents Wesley Roberts and Sally Ethel (Raines) Roberts, Fannie lived a full and joyful life.
She leaves behind a loving family: children Clint and Chris Hutson; sister Geane Kellogg and husband Billy Guy Kellogg; and grandchildren: Cameron Hutson, Shane Hutson and wife Lauren, Kristen Alice Lloyd and family, and Cailey Hutson and fiance Rob Macias. Fannie was also the proud great-grandmother to three special young ones. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Sally, and numerous brothers and sisters.
Fannie served as the devoted secretary of Caney High School until her retirement, making a significant contribution to local education. An active member of the community, she shared a deep connection with the Atoka area and its people.
She pursued her passions with joy and enthusiasm. A skilled quilter and seamstress, Fannie spent countless delightful hours quilting and sewing, often with her sisters, nieces, and cousins as part of the Roberts family sewing gatherings. She also had a love for fishing and dancing. Her cherished dog, Tinkerbell, often accompanied her in these pursuits.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at 10AM at the Stringtown Cemetery.
