Floyd Perryman Obituary

Floyd Worth Perryman, 80, passed from this life on December 8, 2020 at his home in Hugo, Oklahoma. He was born at All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas on December 26, 1939 to Irene Betts Perryman and Floyd Worth Perryman Sr. He married Linda Monroe on April 9, 1991 in Hurst, Texas.

Floyd worked at All Saints Hospital as a respiratory therapist, and after his service in the United States Navy, went to work for International Biomedical. He later opened his own business, Perryman Medical Supply, and during that time Floyd also owned and operated Pine Cone Springs Ranch in Hugo, Oklahoma, where for years he raised Longhorn cattle. His well known mascot was Sancho, and he loved to ride Sancho in parades. Later in life, his passion was raising miniature donkeys.

Floyd was a devoted husband, Dad, Papa, and friend, who loved his family dearly. He was loved by everyone that knew him, and attended Fresh Beginnings Church in Finley, Oklahoma.

Floyd is preceded in death by his parents: Floyd Perryman Sr. and Irene Perryman Dobson; sisters: Kay of Washington State; aunts: Eva Betts, and Agnes Woods of Sulphur, Oklahoma; step-son: Brad Childers; and one great-granddaughter: Avery Ann Jones.

He is survived by his wife: Linda Perryman of the home; daughters: Lisa Perryman Sutton and husband Roger of Keller, Texas and Christi Selph of Hugo, Oklahoma; step-son: Rick Childers and wife Lily of Corinth, Texas; grandchildren: Kameryn Markham and fiance Blake Wilson, Brielle, Gracie, Harper, and Luke Sutton of Keller, Texas, Lyndsey Parker and husband Derrick of Grant, Oklahoma, Lacy Baker and husband Chance of Hugo, Oklahoma, Josh Tedder and fiance Rachael Daniels of Hugo, Oklahoma, and Caulin and Caitlin Childers of Corinth, Texas; great-grandchildren: Caydin Benjamin, Camdyn Thomas, Landon Parker, Beckham Parker, Addison Jones, Rusty Baker, Ryan Baker, and Braxton Lambert; and sisters in law: Billie Owen and Sisty Monroe; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services for Floyd will be held on December 14, 2020 at 2PM at Fresh Beginnings Church in Finley, Oklahoma with David Monroe and Joyce Lumans officiating. Family Night visitation will take place on December 13, 2020 from 5-7PM at Serenity Funeral Service of Antlers. Pallbearers include Josh Tedder, Bart Tedder, Chance Baker, Kevin Monroe, David Monroe, and Derrick Parker. Honorary Pallbearers are: Mike Monroe, Clifford Carlile, Shorty Porter, Mark Hammons, and Robert Record.
