Frank David Wood in Antlers, Oklahoma on May 15, 2023. He was born on April 27, 1955, in Goodrich, Michigan. Frank was a member of the Living Water Church in Antlers.
Frank was the son of Marian Mulligan (St. Joseph, Louisiana) and the late Henry Wood. He is survived by his wife, Latreace Wood of Antlers, Oklahoma, and their children: Wyatt Wood of Antlers, Oklahoma, Jeremy Wood and his wife Tonya of Midwest City, Oklahoma, and Heidi Garcia of Midwest City, Oklahoma. Frank was the proud grandfather of Jacob Garcia, Gavin Wood, and Devin Wood. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his stepfather James Mulligan and brothers Neil Wood and Keith Wood.
A proud veteran, Frank spent four years serving his country in the United States Army. During his time in the military, he earned the National Defense Service Medal. Frank's time in the service played an essential role in shaping the man he would become and the values that he held dear throughout his life.
He had a deep love for nature, and he spent many hours fishing with Wyatt, his son, and sharing his passion for the great outdoors. Frank also enjoyed "working around the place" and was known for his enduring love of his "little slice of heaven." He cherished sitting on the patio and listening to the birds sing, taking in the beauty of nature. This special spot provided years of enjoyment, relaxation, and, perhaps most importantly, a genuine connection to his surroundings.
