Fred Allen Janoe, 79, went to be with his Lord, on December 30, 2021, in Antlers, Oklahoma. He was born May 21, 1942, in Hugo, Oklahoma, to Paul and Fairy (Newman) Janoe.
He was a family man. Fred married Wyvone Thomas on December 23, 1960, in Rockwall, Texas, and they were blessed with 61 beautiful years of marriage. He was an avid fisherman who also enjoyed working on tractors, riding side by sides, quilting and making candy. Above all else, Fred loved spending time and making memories with his family, especially his wife Wyvone.
Fred is preceded in death by his parents: Paul and Fairy Janoe; brothers: Tom Janoe and Larry Janoe; sister: Joyce Mauldin; grandson: Jason Hooker; and granddaughter: Mandy Janoe.
He leaves behind his wife: Wyvone Janoe of the home; children: Chris Janoe and wife Sharon of Rattan, Oklahoma, Terry Janoe and wife Melinda of Soper, Oklahoma, Tammy Hooker and husband Jonathan of Antlers, Oklahoma and Amanda Daniel and husband Gary of Moyers, Oklahoma; brothers: Glenn Janoe and Howard Janoe; grandchildren: Fred, Wayne, Brent, Cody, Brason, Ben, Mark, Mylaine, Jennifer, Caleb, Dillon, J.J., Brian, Nikki, Brandi and Chelsea; twenty-seven great grandchildren, with two more on the way; as well as many other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services for Fred Janoe will be 2 PM, Sunday, January 2, 2022, at the Roundup Cowboy Church, with Pastor Jonathan Hooker officiating. Burial will follow at Sugar Creek Cemetery.
