Fred Raymond Walton was born in Antlers, Oklahoma on January 29, 1982 to Larry Dewayne Walton and Kathleen (Henderson) Walton. He passed peacefully at his home in Antlers on June 7, 2022 at the age of 40.
Fred was a lifetime resident of the Antlers area. Everyone who knew him cherished his kind spirit and genuine smile. His friends could always count on him when they needed sound, honest advice. Fred loved basketball and never missed his Monday nights at the gym with the guys.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather: Raymond Walton; grandmother: Elizabeth McIntosh; as well as Earl Williams and Eveline Williams.
Fred is survived by his children: Lailah Walton and Tiana Walton; brothers: Larry Walton II (Jennifer) and Newport News, VA, Clinton Crawley (Markesha) of Oklahoma City, OK, Clifford Crawley (Samantha) of Oklahoma City, OK, Brian Walton of Antlers, OK, and bonus brother: Nick Hopkins; sisters: Dorastine Rucker (Chris) of Hugo, OK, Katrina Bills (Londell) of Hugo, OK, Carlene Crawley (Kevin) of Oklahoma City, OK, Christy Crawley (Curtis) of Oklahoma City, OK, Stephanie Walton of Oklahoma City, OK, Crystal Walton of Dallas, TX, and Veronica Walton (Marcus) of Oklahoma City, OK; as well as a host of numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family night will beheld on Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 5-7PM at Serenity Funeral Service. Funeral services will take place on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 2PM at the Antlers High School Bobby Harris Gymnasium with Alexis Bills officiating. Interment will follow at Antlers City Cemetery. Pallbearers include: Arizona Taylor, Bryce Martin, Josh Johnson, Sid Tabor, Jake Mattingly, and Rick Rowley. Honorary pallbearers include: Nick Hopkins, Marcellus Hill, Terrance Williams, Rickey White, Darrell Nichols, and Kenneth Freeman. Flower girls include Rezonna Walton, Peggy Walton, Cautiaira Harris, Kadeisha Crussell, Taleeah Crawley, Desire Walton, Amareeona Hines, and Shatori Milton.
