Gale shaped young minds as a school teacher at Clayton Schools for 19 years and always had lots of humorous stories to tell about his students. He worked his land as a cattle rancher until his 91st year, embracing both the challenges and rewards that came with the profession.
Gale was preceded in death by his wife: Bonnie; his parents: Kyle and Allie Brown; brothers: Byron and Rick Brown; and sister: Kay Black.
Gale is survived by his children: Kevin Brown, Karen Moon, Twilla Brown, Cynthia Golden, and Cathy Kirkpatrick; his brother: Danny Brown; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Those who knew Gale remember him as a man of resilience, integrity, and unyielding love for his family-a true embodiment of a life well lived. Gale was not a fan of long, drawn-out funeral services and just wanted it said that he was a "pretty good ole boy".
Services were entrusted with Serenity Funeral Service and Cremations of Antlers, OK.
