Garret Lee Ashley Obituary

Garret Ashley, 14, passed away far too soon on December 12, 2025, leaving behind a family and community who loved him more than words can ever express. Garret was a rare soul—funny, kind, mischievous, and endlessly loving. He brought light and laughter wherever he went, and his sharp mind and big heart made him someone truly unforgettable.

His older brother was his role model, and they shared an unshakable bond. He also had many cousins who weren’t just family but his closest companions—every cousin thought of him as their brother, and Garret felt the same way about them. Though his father passed away before he was born, Garret was blessed with the love and guidance of his Uncle Justin, who stood by him as a cherished father figure, offering wisdom, laughter, and unconditional support. Above all, he was surrounded by his mother’s endless love and deep, unwavering pride.

Garret loved video games, where he found adventure and joy, but his greatest joy came from visiting his friends and family, sharing laughs, stories, and moments that brought everyone closer together. His warmth and humor filled every room he walked into, and his hugs, his jokes, and his loyalty made everyone around him feel deeply cared for.

Garret is preceded in death by his father: Justin Ashley; sister: Holly Jordan; great-grandparents: Jim and Louise Gibson; and uncle: JJ Gibson.

He is survived by his mother: Amber Jordan; brothers: Bradley Jordan, Ryan Gibson, Justin Gibson, Jimmy Caserta, and Jeremy Jordan; sisters: Katie Ashley, Meagan Gibson, Skylar O'Regan, and Tasha Jordan; grandparents: JW Gibson, Misty Gibson, Robert and Caroline Ashley, and Patsy Reed; uncles: Justin Gibson, Ben Smith, and Kyle Camp; aunts: Rhonda Gibson, and Helen Smith; and sisters-in-law: Haven Miller and Mercedez Miller.

Garret’s time here was heartbreakingly short, but his impact will last forever. He was a gift to everyone who knew him, and his memory will always be cherished and never be forgotten.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 2PM at the Corinne Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Service of Antlers.
