Gaylon Ludlow Obituary

Gaylon Odell Ludlow, 68, passed from this life in San Antonio, Texas on June 11, 2022. He was born May 26, 1954 in Battiest, Oklahoma to John and Ruth (Hardy) Ludlow.
After graduation, Gaylon proudly served the United States Army from 1976 to 1995 and obtained the rank of Sergeant First Class. He married Rosalina Domingo June 20, 1986 in San Antonio, Texas. Gaylon enjoyed writing poetry, writing journals, working on genealogy, and translating various church hymns into the Choctaw language. Gaylon also enjoyed being the only certified Choctaw language professor in San Antonio and has taught the language for several years. He also enjoys camping, photography, music and spending time telling stories and being with his friends and family.
Gaylon was preceded in his death by his parents: John and Ruth Ludlow; and a daughter: Littie Stidders.
He is survived by his wife Rose Ludlow of the home; children: Michael J. Ludlow and fiancé Rachel Rogers of San Antonio, Texas, Rocell J. Ludlow and Aleks of Denton, Texas; grandchildren: Leslie Ludlow, Angela Ludlow, Larry Bird, Meshiya Bird; 2 great grandchildren; siblings: Roy Ludlow and wife Margrete, Bobby Ludlow and wife Ruby and Lucille Ludlow; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
Services will be held 10 AM Wednesday June 22, 2022 at Bertrum Bobb Chapel in Tuskahoma, Oklahoma.

Funeral services have been entrusted with Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.
