Gerald Franklin Mickey Jr. passed from this life on May 20, 2024, in Rattan, Oklahoma. He was born July 18, 1969, in Torrance, California, to Gerald Franklin Mickey Sr. and Cecelia (Chacon) Mickey.

He was a kind man and a hard worker. Mick enjoyed cooking and was eager to fix a meal for anyone. In his spare time, you could find Mick in the garden, as he had quite a green thumb. Above all else, Mick loved spending time with his family.

Mick is preceded in death by his father: Gerald Franklin Mickey Sr.; mother: Cecilia Mickey; and brothers: Marcos Mickey.

He leaves behind his children: Gerald Franklin Mickey III of Mabank, Texas and Rachael Rainey Miller of Taneytown, Maryland; sisters: Tina Shelton of Lindale, Texas, Jay McNair of Willis, Texas, Cheri Lerwick of Tyler, Texas and Michelle Mickey of Crockett, Texas; grandparents: John and Myrtle Bridges; grandchildren: Claire Miller, Camryn Miller, Archer Miller, Korra Miller and Rook Miller all of Taneytown, Maryland; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
