Goman Duane Powell, 73,  passed from this life on November 6, 2025, in Moore, Oklahoma. He was born on June 10, 1952, in Hugo, Oklahoma to Joe Thomas Powell and Evelyn Lorene (Persinger) Powell. He spent the majority of his life in Moore, Oklahoma.

Goman was an avid reader of books and enjoyed watching westerns. He also loved spending time with his family, especially during family diners. Goman will be missed by all who knew him. 

He is preceded in death by his parents: Joe and Evelyn Powell; and his sister: Jorene (Powell) Goff.

Goman is survived by his sisters: Linda Baggett of Moore, Oklahoma, Paula Simon and husband Don of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and Kathy Sharp and husband Monty of Burkburnett, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends. 

Graveside services will be held at 1PM, Monday, November 10, 2025, at the Dela Cemetery in Antlers, Oklahoma.
