Greta Elvira Campbell, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away on May 12th, 2023 in Hugo, Oklahoma. Born April 22nd, 1942, in Atoka, Oklahoma, Greta was known for her friendliness and kindness that touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be dearly missed, but her legacy will live on through the cherished memories of those who loved her.

Greta enjoyed sewing, cooking, and canning vegetables. She had an affinity for planting flowers, her garden often showcasing her skills and love for beauty. A doting grandmother, she spent countless hours chasing her grandkids around, ensuring their lives were filled with joy and laughter. Greta had a particular love for Garfield cartoons, often finding humor and wisdom in the feline's antics.

Greta was preceded in death by her parents: Carl and Lilly Hokett; her children: Charlie Campbell and Debra Kilpatrick; and siblings: Ina Pruiett, Nina Johnson, Barbara Peoples, Tim Hokett, and Wyllie Hokett.

She is survived by her devoted spouse: Johnny Campbell Sr., of Antlers, Oklahoma, and their children: Johnny Campbell, Jr. of Gardendale, Texas, and Sherri Campbell of San Antonio, Texas. Greta is also survived by her brother: JD Hokett of Wapanucka, Oklahoma; sister: Shirley Bushong of Odessa, Texas, and numerous grandkids and great-grandkids.
