Henry C. Watson Obituary

Henry Clinton Watson, aged 81, of Antlers, OK, passed away surrounded by his family on the 12th of December, 2024, in Oklahoma City, OK. Born on February 2, 1943, in McAlester, he lived a life marked by dedication, service, and the joy of meaningful work and hobbies.

A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Henry carried the discipline and camaraderie from his military service into his civilian life. After his time in the service, he became a pipeline x-ray technician, where his work ethic was recognized by all who worked alongside him. Beyond his professional endeavors, Henry was an active member of his community as part of the Masonic Lodge, Shriners, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Push Republican Party, continuously striving to make a difference.

Henry took pleasure in the simple things life offered. His love of nature was evident in his passion for gardening, and the meticulous care of his property. He could often be found mowing his lawn, content in the solitude and satisfaction that it brought him.

Henry was preceded in death by his grandmother, Fannie Mae Smith; father, Babe C. Watson; step-dad, Sloney Beasley; sister, Joyce Snider; mother, Myrtle Beasley; and his loving spouse, Edna Watson.
His legacy is carried on by his children, Bryan Watson of Antlers, OK, and stepson Scotty Hamill of Oklahoma City, OK. His memory will also be cherished by his brothers, Tony Beasley of Antlers, OK, and Johnny Beasley of Snow, OK, and his sister, Mary Sheets of Soper, OK.

Henry's life was a testament to living fully, serving generously, and loving deeply. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
