Ima Jean (Wheeler) Young, 83, of Rattan, Oklahoma passed from this life in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on November 13, 2020. She was born on February 13, 1937 in Cloudy, Oklahoma to Otis Lee Wheeler and Roberta Eugene (Beezley) Wheeler.

Ima Jean married Hollis Young on June 8, 1955 in Springfield, Tennessee and they had been in the Cloudy community for over 46 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Hollis Young; parents: Otis Wheeler and Roberta Wheeler McClanahan; brother: Howard Snowden; and sisters: Jimmie Cooper and Oma Mae Wheeler.

Ima Jean is survived by her children: James Young and spouse Sandy Dickson of Sawyer, OK, Rita Cogburn and spouse Don of Rattan, OK, Wayne Young and spouse Charlene of Cloudy, OK, and Lorri Critchlow and spouse Sonny of Rattan, OK; siblings: Don Wheeler and spouse Lawanda of Cloudy, OK, Wynonah Payne and spouse Damon of Norman, OK, Joanne Burgess and spouse Bill of Norman, OK, and Lola Arnett of Lexington, OK; grandchildren: Tina Jeffreys of Hugo, OK, Harolyn Melton of Hugo, OK, Twister Holder of Soper, OK, Molly Walker of Valliant, OK, Christy Young Ahumada of Glenn Heights, TX, Michael Young of Idabel, OK, Justin Young of Broken Bow, OK, Jamie Critchlow of Paris, TX, Kaci Lawless of Rattan, OK, Codi Critchlow of Rattan, OK, Misty Norton of Cloudy, OK and Chad Young of Cloudy, OK; great-grandchildren: Gatlin Holder, Carolynn Holder, Kori Scott, Jaden Smith, Sawyer Lawless, Finley Lawless, Cal Young, Kortnie Young, Austin Lyle, Sarah Ahumada, Andi Young, Bryce Norton, Corbin Norton, and Tristyn Young; and great-great-grandchildren: Curry Scott, Pryce Scott, and Conley Scott.

Funeral services for Ima Jean will be held 1 PM Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma with Doug West. Burial will follow at Cloudy Cemetery with a graveside officiated by Luther Roden.
