James Ira Dunham

James Ira Dunham was born on April 16, 1942 in Antlers, Oklahoma to Orval and Opal Dunham. His parents were local ranchers and James expanded on what they started.

He graduated from Antlers High School in 1960. After high school he went on to serve in the United States Army before attending college. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in agriculture and was a proud Cowboy. He was known for his success in insurance and in ranching. James was a family man. He loved his children dearly and spoiled his granddaughters any chance he got.

James is survived by his son, James Dunham ll, his daughter, Janna Dunham, his two granddaughters, Aaron (Garrett) Olivis, Madelynn (Patrick) Finn, and great grandchildren Tristan, Allison, and Harper Olivis, and Jamie Finn.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Opal and Orval Dunham, as well as his sister, Judy Dunham.

Services for James will take place on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 11AM at the Serenity Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at Hall Cemetery.
