Janice Mckee Obituary

Janice Yvone (Catlett) Mckee was born September 13, 1939 in Little Chief, Oklahoma to J.R. and Margie (Burkhart) Catlett. She passed from this life April 18, 2020 in Antlers, Oklahoma at the age of 80.

Janice married Stacy Mckee June 30, 1958 in Cactus, Texas. She was a resident of Antlers for 24 years. Janice enjoyed reading, music, and coloring. She enjoyed going to church and was a very active member of the Assembly of God Church in Antlers, Oklahoma. She was a Sunday School teacher and secretary for a number of years. She was a member of the Women's Missionary Group, the church choir, and she sang specials and played piano for the church.

She is preceded in death by her parents: J.R. and Margie Catlett; and grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Burkhart.

Janice is survived by her husband: Stacy Mckee; children: Cheryl Tisdale of Durango, Colorado and Brent Mckee of Woodward, Oklahoma; sisters: Sue Alderette of Texhoma, Oklahoma and Pam Ebbers and husband Delmar of Beatrice, Nebraska; brother: Steve Catlett and wife Melly of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren: Mark Tisdale of New York, New York, Luke Tisdale and wife Rachel of Tomball, Texas, Kendra Kirk of Prescott, Arizona, Jamie Tisdale of Houston, Texas; great-grandchildren Ellie and Coco Tisdale, along with many other relatives and a host of friends.

Services will be held 10AM, Friday, April 24, 2020 at Smallwood/Mckee Cemetery with Reverend Mitch Fitzgerald officiating. We will be offering Facebook live feed 10AM Friday.
