Jimmie Roe Boggs Obituary

Jimmie Roe Boggs passed away on January 1, 2026, at the age of 87. He lived a life marked by hard work, devotion to family, and steadfast faith.

Jimmie was born on October 5, 1938, in Lindsay, Oklahoma. In 1946, his family moved to California from Oklahoma, briefly stopping in Stockton before settling in Rockport, California. The family lived in Fort Bragg, where Jimmie worked for Baxman for 10 years. Even after moving to Willits, he continued commuting to Fort Bragg for work. Over the years, Jimmie worked for Homer Hellums Logging operating dozers, cats, and other heavy equipment, drove logging trucks, and later worked for Big-4-Rents hauling heavy equipment on a flatbed. He concluded his long career working for the county, retiring as a senior equipment operator.
