Jimmie Allon Fairless

Jimmie Allon Fairless, known by friends and family as Okie or Papa, passed away on the 25th of October 2023 in Paris, TX. Born on the 12th of August, 1944, in Moon, OK, he was a man of good humor, known for his personality and ornery spirit.

Allon was preceded in death by his parents: Jimmy Evert Fairless and Beaulah Lee (Bates) Fairless; siblings: Walter "Dub" Fairless, Ruby Colvin, and Alma Dean "Dee" Bishop; and his son: Rex Allon Fairless.

He is survived by his wife: Mary S. Fairless of Antlers, OK; children: Tina Tirrell and her husband Randy; grandchildren: Randal P. Tirrell and wife Anabel, Christopher S. Tirrell and wife Sherry, RJ Fairless and wife Shenea, Ashlee Hamilton and husband Jeremy, Kassea Fairless, Shelby L. Fairless, Leebo Wayman, and Jojo Wayman; great-grandchildren: Heaven Fairless, Roger Fairless, Jake Wayman, Brayln LeFlore, Elizabeth LeFlore, Bailee McCoy, Emma Choate, Walker Fairless-LeFlore, Hunter Hamilton, Jalyn Fairless-LeFlore, Cooper Wayman, Maelee Wayman, and Richard Fairless. Allon is also survived by his dear niece, Deana Johnson who helped care for him and a very special nurse, Lisa Williams, regarded as a daughter, and her daughter.

An outdoor enthusiast, Allon loved hunting and fishing. He was a fan of classic Westerns, spending many an afternoon entertained by their stories. A natural prankster, he was well-known for his love of jokes and enjoyed pestering people in good spirit. Allon cherished a good conversation with his many family members and friends.

Allon Fairless lived a life filled with love. His spirit will continue to live on through the stories shared and memories cherished by his family.
A family night will take place on Sunday, October 29, 2023 from 2-4PM at Serenity Funeral Service. The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023 at 1PM at the Serenity Funeral Service Chapel with Charlie Mueller officiating. Interment will follow at Rocky Point Cemetery. The family will meet at the Wildlife Heritage Center in Antlers for a lunch prior to the funeral service from 11:00-12:30.
