Jo Rita Janoe was born on May 1, 1940 in Sawyer, OK. She passed from this life on August 8, 2022 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 82.

Jo married Larry Janoe on August 8, 1958 in Sawyer, OK. They were lifetime residents of the area. Jo loved dancing, cooking for her family, playing outside with the grandkids, and playing dominos and cards with friends. When her kids were younger she sewed children's clothes for a factory and made her kids' clothes as well. She was a loving, caring and devoted wife to Larry - the love of her life. She was very proud of her three children to the extent of embarrassing them. Jo adored each of her grandchildren and thought they were perfect. She loved hugs and gave real ones. Jo was kind and just wanted everyone to be happy

She is preceded in death by her husband: Larry Janoe; mother: Lois (Watkins) Windham; father: Frank Atkinson; and sister: June Atkinson.

Jo is survived by her children: Roger Janoe, Laurie Davis, and Kimberley Janoe; grandchildren: Jessica Walthall, Piper Janoe, Noah Janoe, Jack Counts III, Foster Counts, Sawyer Counts, Aidan Davis, Henry Allen, and Audrey Allen; and great-grandchild: Fletcher Walthall.

Services are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.
