Joe Gerald Wilkins, 75, passed away on August 27, 2021 in Clovis, New Mexico.
Joe was born on February 10, 1946 in Talihina, Oklahoma to William and Adela Wilkins. He married Lenora Wolftongue on September 16, 1968 in Hugo, Oklahoma. Joe coached baseball and liked to watch the Oklahoma Sooners. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife; Lenora Wilkins, his sons; Robert and Joey Wolftongue, his grandchildren; Jasmine Wolftongue, Ashlee Jo Wolftongue, and Jacob Wolftongue, his nieces: Ramona Bender (George) Howe, Texas, Margie Dunivan, Midlothian, VA, Rita Newton (Michael) Van Buren, Arkansas, Paula Jackson Arlington, TX, Kathleen Tucker, Grapevine, TX and several great nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by: his parents; Willie and Adela Wilkins, his sisters, Tjyanna Noah, Henrietta Pope, Christine Chittenden, Ruth Jackson, and a brother; William Wilkins, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 1PM at the Serenity Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow at the Choctaw Veteran's Cemetery in Tuskahoma, Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Service of Antlers, OK.
