Johanna (Dever) Epperson

Johanna D. "Johnnie" Epperson passed from this life at her home in Hugo, OK on July 26, 2022 at the age of 81. She was born on September 26, 1940 in Cooper, TX to Jasper Haywood Dever and Media Celina (Moore) Dever. Johnnie married Jim Epperson in 1986 in Decatur, TX and together they enjoyed many years and memories.

She was a beloved member of the First United Methodist Church of Antlers. Johnnie passed much of her time sewing and enjoying music.

She is preceded in death by her first husband Bobby Bledsoe; children: Bobby Bledsoe, Jr., Tina Bledsoe, and Julie Molanders; and grandson: Steven Bledsoe.

Johnnie is survived by her husband Jim Epperson of the home; children: Richard Bledsoe, Stephen Ray Bledsoe, Bobby Bledsoe, Doug Epperson, TP Paz, Jill Johnson, and Alan Epperson; sisters: Ruth McLain and Martha Storm; grandchildren: Amy, Jason, Tiffany, Valerie, Laura, Danny, Cindy, Melissa, Matthew, Robin, Violet, Kimberly, and Brandon, as well as numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 11AM at the First United Methodist Church in Antlers, OK with Reverend Tim Trujillo officiating.

Services are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Service of Antlers, OK.
