John "Bubba" Potter was born in Ardmore, OK on September 29, 1976 to John W. and Rita (Patton) Potter. He passed from this life on October 17, 2024 in Antlers, OK at the age of 48.

Bubba is preceded in death by his mother: Rita Potter; sister: Crystal Potter; grandparents: Sonny and Bernadine Patton, Wes Potter, and Maria Lydolph; and aunts: Wilma Warren and Ann Metcalf.

He is survived by his father: John W. Potter; brother: JP Potter and wife Tamra Miller; sister: Angela Hokett and husband David; nieces and nephews: Kaci Anderson and husband Shawn, Taylor Hokett, Jasper Hokett, Hugh Hokett, Kutter Potter, Traslie Wilson, Carter Wilson, and Tracyn Wilson; and great-niece: Sadie Anderson.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024 at 2PM at the Serenity Funeral Service Chapel with Wade Snow officiating.

Services are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Service of Antlers.
