Johnny Lee Garman was born on June 7, 1958 in Antlers, Oklahoma to Bobby Lee Garman and Anna Faye (Shirley) Garman. He passed from this life on August 28, 2022 at the age of 64. Johnny had been a lifetime resident of Antlers.

He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and target practice at the river. Johnny kept his free time busy watching Gunsmoke and sharpening his knives. Above all else he loved spending time with his kids and grandkids, and always enjoyed a family gathering with a good meal.

Johnny is preceded in death by his grandparents: Roy and Ethel Garman, and Lee and Otie Shirley; and parents: Bobby and Anna Garman.

He is survived by his children: Kellie Leann and husband Joey Rutledge of Soper, OK, and Kevin Lee Garman and Fiance Krystin Riley of Rattan, OK; loving companion: Joy Davis; sisters: Lisa Idleman and husband Mike, and Linda Carter and husband Donny; grandchildren: Tanner Trent, Kadence Garman, Chandler Lee Scout Garman, Tracer Rutledge, Jai'T Garman, and J.W. Garman; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Services for Johnny will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at 10AM at the Serenity Funeral Service Chapel. Interment to follow at Antlers City Cemetery.
