Johnny Earl Payne

Johnny Earl Payne, 71, passed from this life July 13, 2019 in Clayton, Oklahoma. He was born September 19, 1947 to Henry and Lois (VanHoosier) Payne in Clayton, Oklahoma.

Johnny enjoyed fishing, hunting, reading, and working on old cars. He was a lifetime resident of Clayton, and was of the Baptist faith and he loved sharing his love for the Lord. Johnny served in United States Army as a Sergeant in the Vietnam War.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Henry and Lois Payne; son: Mace Payne; and brother: Donald Payne.

Johnny is survived by his children: Jana Hare and husband Robert, and Brenda Irwin and husband Jeff; brothers: Tommy Payne and wife Diane; grandchildren: Kelcey Payne, Kayli Waldron and husband Chad, Wesley Aday, Emma Irwin, and Rickey Hare; great-grandchildren: Kycen Waldron and Gracie Waldron; nephews: Boyd Payne and wife Lydia, Bryan Payne, Roy Payne and wife Jessica; great-nephews Slade Payne and Easton Payne.

In Lieu of flowers, The family asked that donations be made to Kosoma Cemetery.
