Joyce Marie Bell

Joyce Marie Bell was born on September 16, 1942 in Roswell, New Mexico to Benjamin Hardimon and Gladys (Odell) Hardimon. She passed from this life on May 27, 2026 in Antlers, Oklahoma at the age of 83. 

Joyce worked for Sierra Army Depot for 30 years, and was an inventory specialist for special weapons before her retirement. She then moved to Antlers to be with her beloved family 22 years ago. 

Joyce enjoyed spending time with her family and looked forward to family gatherings. She loved cooking meals for those she cared about and found joy in making sure everyone was well fed and cared for. She always put the needs of others before her own and deeply cared about the well-being of her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the center of her life. 

Most of all, she loved taking care of her son Sid. Everyone loves Sid, but not as much as his Mom. She never liked to see her family go home after they visited. You could always look back in your rear view and see her waving goodbye.  

Joyce was preceded in death by her father: Benjamin Hardimon; mother: Gladys Muskopf; brothers: Floyd Hardimon and Benny HArdimon; and sisters: Ann Moran and Molly Hardimon. 

She is survived by her cherished husband of 60 years: Billy Bell of Antlers, OK; children: Sidney Bell of Antlers, OK, and Diana Wilson and spouse of Antlers, OK; sister: Betty Wolcott of Tyler, TX; grandchildren: Trevor Wilson and spouse of Hugo, OK, and Ryan Wilson and spouse of Hugo, OK; and great-grandchildren: Asher Wilson, Josie Wilson, and Brody Wilson. 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 1, 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Nazarene in Antlers, OK with Edwin Finley and Donnie Wing officiating. Interment will follow at OddFellows Cemetery in Antlers, OK. 

Services are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Service of Antlers.
