Joyce Marie Samis, age 89 went to be with the Lord on Thursday December 5th. Marie loved Jesus, family and softball. She played for many years. She loved watching her great grandkids play. I don't think she ever missed a game.

Marie is preceded in death by her parents James and Annie Cole. Sisters Billie Cole, Mildred Greenwood and Wilma Noah. Brothers William Cole, Joe Cole. Daughters Sue Wesley, Pearlie Barcus, Phyllis Barcus. Grandkids William Chaverria and Kelly Wesley.

Marie is survived by her sister Josephine Stewart, grandkids - Sharon Lopez, Eddie Barcus, Misty Lleverino, James Barcus, Mark Parish, Lisa Chaverria, Rebecca Chaverria. 24 great grandkids and 12 great great grandkids. Very special niece that helped so much in caring for her,Lynn Illapotubbee, and several other nieces and nephews.

Family night will be Monday December 9 from 6-8pm at Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers.
Graveside service will be held Tuesday December 10 at 2pm at Antlers City Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Service of Antlers.
