Joye Maye Courtwright, 76, passed from this life August 24, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. SHe was born October 24, 1945 to Leo Bryan Jennings and Dovie Augustus (Tollett) Allensworth in Rufe, Oklahoma.

Joye was born and was one of fourteen siblings. She married James Courtwright and together they had 3 children: Brian, Carrol Wayne and Sheila. Joye worked for the Boswell Animal Vet Kare for over 24 years. She enjoyed spending time at the Rattan Senior Citizen's Center and going to numerous sale barns. Joye will be forever missed by all that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband James Courtwright; her daughter Sheila and all thirteen of her brothers and sisters.

Joye is survived by her two sons: Brian Courtwright and Carrol Wayne Courtwright both of Spencerville, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Amanda Woodruff and husband Dakota of Rattan, Oklahoma, Adam Courtwright of Rattan, Oklahoma, Phillip Courtwight and Kamron Kelley of Rattan, Oklahoma, Savannah Courtwright and husband Cole Covington of Caddo, Oklahoma, ShyAnn Courtwright, Houston Covington, Zoe Courtwright, Sheradenn and Shakur Wallace all of Antlers, Oklahoma, Briana Chiles of Antlers, Oklahoma, Malea Chiles of Antlers, Oklahoma; great grandchildren: Dalton Nelson of Rattan, Oklahoma, Dakota Nelson of Rattan, Oklahoma, Oakley Ann of Caddo, Oklahoma, Liam Wallace of Rattan, Oklahoma, JJ Woodruff of Rattan, Oklahoma; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Services for Joye will be held 2 PM Monday August 29, 2022 at the Victory Assembly of God in Rattan, Oklahoma with interment following at Rattan Cemetery. Pastor Jonathan McDaniel will be officiating.

Pallbearers for Joye will be Tony Duncan, Jimmy Dale Morehead, Marty Allensworth, Brad Courtwright, Dalton Nelson, Dakota Woodruff, Cole Covington and Travis Moore. Honorary pallbearers will be Adam Courtwright, Robert Lewis, Stanley Pope, Jace Branton and Johnny Courtwright.

Funeral services are entrusted with Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.
