Juanita Briggs Obituary
Juanita Briggs, 92, was born September 3, 1928 at Nashoba, Nolia Community to Julian Kuykendall and Mollie (Wright) Kuykendall. She passed away on March 25, 2021 at her home in Nashoba.
Juanita was a lifelong resident of the Nolia Community and a member of Nolia Church. Spending time with her family was the thing she enjoyed most in life.
Juanita is survived by son Michael Briggs and wife Sandra; brother: Wayne Kuykendall and wife Pat; sisters: Zelma Briggs and husband Decima ; six granddaughters: Tonia Bray and husband John, Christy Robbins and husband Chris, Shalynn Morales and husband Hector, Melissa Hutson, Andrea Wilson, and Cathy Briggs; one grandson: Quartermain Briggs; twelve great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Julian and Mollie Kuykendall; husband: Quartermain Briggs; grandson: Daman Briggs; sisters: Louise Maddox, Orene Jeffcoat Hamman, and Marie Scarberry; and son: Rickie Briggs.
Graveside services for Juanita will be held on Sunday 2:00 PM, March 28, 2021 at 2PM at Nolia Cemetery With Derik Gee officiating.
Pallbearers will be John Bray, Chris Robbins, Darell Scarberry, Rodney Lovitt, Derik Gee, Terran Gee and Hector Morales.
Services have been entrusted with Serenity Funeral Service of Antlers, Oklahoma.
