Kaler Wolfe Obituary

Kaler Wolfe was born November 30, 1963 in Hugo, Oklahoma to a loving mother, Amber Rean Wolfe, loving grandparents, Joel Claude and Etter Hamill, Uncle George and Aunt Jean Cogburn, and numerous cousins. He was raised in Sobol, Oklahoma with coon dogs, pond swimming, and the mechanical skills and imagination to drive that '58 Dodge a million miles, grindin' gears and squalin' tires.

He loved being outdoors. Around the age 5-6 Kaler wandered off, got lost and had the Rattan FFA Class to search and found him curled up with his dog asleep on a log. In 1981, Kaler, his mother, and younger brother Corlie moved to Antlers where Kaler loved to help his Uncle Leanord in the garden and got to use his mechanical skills helping Curtis and Joann Sappington in the tire shop. Occasionally, he would get himself in trouble for selling a 45 dollar tire for 5 dollars.

Kaler was born with special needs, he was mentally handicapped. Although his body grew old, his childlike ways never faded, which made life rough, because people could never understand the ways of his mind. We had to place him into facilities that would accommodate his special needs. We got to bring him home for special occasions and holidays, especially Christmas, which was his favorite. He always had a great joy getting to see his niece Stephanie and twin nephews, Derek and Dustin, who he was always talking about and showing off their pictures. He always liked picking on his younger brother Corlie, and he always looked up to and wanted to be like his older brother Clifton, but he had his sister (sister-in-law) Sonya wrapped around his little finger because she would always go get him and bring him home.

Kaler had many homes throughout his life, but he was always loved. On August 24, 2022 he entered his heavenly home, leaving behind those who loved him: Clifton and Sonya Wolfe, Corlie Wolfe, Stephanie and Michael Reid, Derek and Rachel Wolfe, and Dustin Wolfe. He was greeted by his loving mother, Amber Rean Wolfe, Joel Claude and Etter Hamill, Uncle George Cogburn, Uncle Leanord, Curtis Sappington, and welcomed home by Jesus Christ.
