Kathy Lee Jackson Obituary

Kathy Lee (Thompson) Jackson was born on August 29, 1950 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho to Kendel and Freda (Anderson) Thompson. She passed from this life on August 25, 2024 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, just four days shy of her 74th birthday.

Kathy was a natural born caretaker, and obtained an Associate's Degree in nursing. After marrying the love of her life, Bruce Jackson, on August 24, 1987 in Lake Charles, Louisiana, she lovingly embraced the role of mother and homemaker. Kathy loved the peace she found while fishing and showed her creative side through her arts and crafts. She was steadfast in her Christian faith and spent much time studying her beloved Bible. Above all her hobbies and interests, she was her most joyous when she was spending as much time as possible with her family and friends.

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents: Kendel and Freda Thompson; brother: Kendel Thompson, Jr.; and sister: Lucinda Monaghan.

She leaves many behind to cherish her memory, including her spouse: Howard Bruce Jackson of Tuskahoma, OK; children: Craig Wycoff and wife Amy of Spokane, WA, LaDonna Dunn of Tuskahoma, OK, Dusty Wynn of Yukon, OK, and Joshua Standifer and wife Nichole of Spokane, WA; as well as 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 10AM at A.L. Stephens Cemetery in Clayton, OK with Lyndon Howze and Jim Collier officiating.

Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.'
