Larry Alvin Davis passed from this life on July 17, 2021 in Antlers, OK. He was born on September 22, 1945 in Hugo, OK to Alvin Milton Davis and Emma Lois (Linsey) Davis. Larry was a lifetime resident of Southeast Oklahoma.
Larry was a member of the Antlers Church of Christ and a proud veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed doing genealogy and working with his CB radio.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents: Alvin Davis and Lois Davis; siblings: Jerry Davis, Billie "Bitsy" Kersey, and Kathy Ripley; nephew: Billy Dale Wilson; and niece: Schrena Wilson.
He is survived by his sister in law: Louise Davis of Antlers, OK; nieces and nephews: Vickie and Tim Hill of Pottsboro, TX, Margaret and Brian Owings of Brookston, TX, Jerry Davis Jr. "Bubba" and Lisa Davis of Moyers, OK, Martha Williams of Antlers, OK, Charlie Davis of Antlers, OK, Alfred Cole of Antlers, OK, Crystal and Michael Carpenter of Edmond, OK, Henry and Julie Cole of Kiowa, OK, Katie Jo Ripley of Antlers, OK, Jeaudon Ripley of Edmond, OK; as well as 10 great nephews and 8 great nieces, with one more on the way.
Services for Larry will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 11AM at the Antlers Church of Christ with Brent Franks. Interment to follow at Antlers City Cemetery. Pallbearers include: Thomas Hill, Charlie Davis, Michael Carpenter, Alfred Cole, Henry Cole and Tim Hill.
Services have been entrusted with Serenity Funeral Service of Antlers.
