Leon Williams

David Leon Williams, 79, passed from this life surrounded by his loving family in Antlers, Oklahoma on November 19, 2022. Leon was born October 17, 1943 to Joe and Emma (Duncan) Williams in Antlers, Oklahoma.

Leon married Patsy Ann Savage May 26, 1962 in Antlers, Oklahoma. Together they had three children: Lynn, David and Monte. Leon was an entrepreneur who owned Williams TV and Appliance and also his own construction company. He enjoyed hunting and was a member of the Jaycee's and Pushmataha County Chamber of Commerce. Most of all he loved to help others and will be missed by all that new him.

Leon was preceded in death by his parents, Wife: Patsy Ann Williams, son: Monte Williams, and a brother: Joe Williams Jr..

He is survived by his children: Lynn Winters and husband John, David Williams and wife Dorothy; daughter in law: Lynda Williams; sisters: Priscilla Brents, Phyllis Nowell, Pam Eastep and husband Larry; grandchildren: Amber and Jonathan Buchanan, Michelle and Randle Moyer, Mark and Ashley Williams, Marlee and Jeremiah Taylor and Dalton and Kayleigh Williams; great grandchildren: Luke and Isabelle Buchanan, Abby Cole and Calvin Moyer, Franklin and Finley Williams, Penelope, Piper and Benjamin Taylor; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Services for Leon will be held 10 AM Tuesday November 22, 2022 at the First Baptist Church in Antlers, Oklahoma with Reverend Sam Dyer officiating. Interment to follow at Antlers City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Williams, Jeremiah Taylor, Luke Buchanan, Dalton Williams, Rocky Williams and Jeff Brents. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Mills, Wayne Flatt, Mike Berryhill, Michael Riser, Jackie Hatcher, Clifford Heady, and Jeremy Nowell.

Family night will be Monday November 21, 2022 from 6 to 7 PM.

Services are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.
