Linda Kay Jones

Linda Kay Jones, born to Cecil and Alma Chadrick on July 20, 1953 in Hugo, Oklahoma, passed from this life unexpectedly on December 30, 2023 at the age of 70. She was a lifelong resident of the Hugo area.

Linda was her most joyful self when she was spending time with her family and friends. Her son and grandchildren were her whole world and the lights of her life.

She is preceded in death by many beloved family members, including her husband: David "Burl" Jones; her parents: Alma Chadrick and Cecil Chadrick; daughter: Desiree Jones; sisters: Joyce Brewer, Shirley Phillips, and Patricia Phillips; and brother: Kenneth Chadrick.

Linda is survived by her son: Haskell Jones of Hugo, Oklahoma; brothers: David Ross of Paris, Texas, and Richard Chadrick of Antlers, Oklahoma; sisters: Ethelda Boyd of Paris, Texas, and Wanda Yount of Sawyer, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Hannah Jones, Payton Jones, and Stormi Chadrick of Hugo, Oklahoma.

A memorial will be held at Hugo First Assembly of God on January 20, 2024 at 12PM.
